He continues to be a member of the medical team providing support to the Canadian national alpine ski team. Robertson has served in several positions with professional and collegiate sports teams, including six years as a team physician for North Dakota State University’s women’s basketball team. He has a specific interest in sports medicine and shoulder arthritis and is Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.ĭr. Robertson is trained to care for and identify all forms of injuries of the musculoskeletal system, including joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles and bones. With more than 17 years of experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. ![]() He also completed a master’s degree in medical science, with a focus on ACL surgery while at the University of Toronto during this time.Ī fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, he is also a member of the Canadian Orthopedic Association and Canadian Association of Sports Medicine. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and completed several post-graduate fellowships at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Ontario. ![]() Robertson graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, before completing medical school at the University of Calgary in Alberta. ![]()
